MOBA Prototype
A downloadable game
A MOBA game prototype based on DOTA 2, developed using Unity in 3 months. The game was developed strictly for educational purposes to learn how to write maintainable code for large systems. It is currently in a rough state since it was designed to be a two person project—I had to make it by myself.
Current Implemented Features
- Functional melee/ranged barracks, towers, and ancient
- Minion spawning with complete AI, lane follow, attack, aggro.
- Resources such as HP, Mana, Gold, Exp.
- Level up system with stat and spell upgrades, stats and death timer scaling.
- Death system, KDA.
- Win / Loss states.
- Basic character behavior, movement and auto attacking.
- Working entity stats (str/int/agi) with proper scaling and stacking calculations.
- Entity selection (to view stats).
- Working Vengeful Spirit clone with abilities to test out the hero's programming architecture, spell system, and status effects.
- Minimap.
- Basic hero bots (AI).
